OREANDA-NEWS  On 05 June was announced, that Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis addressed the Saeima (Parliament of the Republic of Latvia) at its extraordinary session on the 2009 budget amendments and urged the MPs to avoid populist statements and to work devotedly on the budget corrections in order to ensure solvency of the country. „This year and overcoming of the crisis will be a big challenge for all residents of Latvia. And this will be an even bigger challenge for politicians, ” stressed the Prime Minister.
