OREANDA-NEWS  On 05 June was announced, that the State Tax Administration of Ukraine overfulfilled the plan of revenue part of the State Budget by 2.2% over January-May of 2009. Deputy head of the STA Serhii Lekar informed during a press conference today. At this, as he put it, May showing is 100.7%.

“Financial plan for this period has been fulfilled, which gave an opportunity to ensure financing of social and cultural spheres, education and other directions contained in the State Budget,” Serhii Lekar stressed.

According to the deputy head of STA, over January-May budget expenditures along principal budget-forming payments have been covered in full. So, the plan in value added tax has been overfulfilled by 8%, excise tax – by 5%, income tax – by 0.1%.

Serhii Lekar also added owing to joint efforts of the Government, STA and local self-government bodies plan of incomes into the local budgets have been covered either, being 102% from the budget schedule.

Furthermore, the STA deputy head aired in May tax payers were reimbursed almost UAH 2.2 billion from value added tax, while over first 5 months of 2009 this sum amounted over UAH 12 billion.

Besides, Serhii Lekar noted in January-May tax militia uncovered 125 conversion centres and 2.7 thousand crimes in tax sphere. According to the deputy head, a tax debt has downed by UAH 4.9 billion.
