OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2009. Thirteenth international exhibition Oil and Gas Uzbekistan – OGU 2009 was held in Tashkent on 12-14 May 2009.

Three-day event was organized by ITE Uzbekistan, member of UFI, and its partner I.T.E. Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd (UK), ITE Moscow (Russia), GIMA (Germany) and ITECA (Kazakhstan).

The organizers said that over 150 companies from 24 countries of the world present their products in such sections as Oil and Gas Mining (technology and equipment), Production of Oil Products, Engineering, Pipes and Pipelines, etc.

The organizers said over 90% participants supported their image and held negotiations with other companies. About 79% of exhibitors inked agreement and 97% of them established new contacts.

About 88% of responders said they studies perspectives of development of trade networks in the region and 97% confirmed their participation in next year's exhibition.

The organizers said about 15% of total exhibitors were from Uzbekistan and about 40% from the CIS states.

Within the exhibition, conference "International conference – guarantee of dynamic development of oil and gas sector in economy of Uzbekistan", which gathered over 500 participants from 32 countries.
