OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2009. In May the deposit portfolio of Megabank’s corporate clients has risen by 4%. The increase of deposited means is observed as at entrepreneurs as well as non banking financial institutions. As a whole in the bank on Megabank’s corporate clients’ accounts last month the deposits were allocated for the total amount of 31 million UAH.

It should be noticed that that the tendency of the increase of the deposit portfolio is observed for the second time since December 2008 (in February the bank reached the index of the increase of the deposit portfolio of corporate clients), what witnesses of return of clients’ confidence to the banking system and to PLC Megabank in particular.

As Megabank’s head of department of banking operations Andrey Onopko noticed, for the last several months there has been a tendency of growth of interest of corporate clients to deposit programs in national currency. Specific weight of such deposits in corporate client’s deposit portfolio is above 76%, growing monthly by several percents.
