OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 June 2009 was announced, that International Exhibition of Calligraphy received the official letter from the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO,  granting its aegis to the II International exhibition of calligraphy (14.10 – 14.11.2009).  

By this decision the most authoritative organization confirmed the fact the Exhibition complies with the aims and ideals of UNESCO in promoting mutual cooperation between peoples. The high recognition of the exhibition will undoubtedly attract attention of the world society to the art produced by the exhibition participants.

Such high estimation together with the support from the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, and many other indications of our project's growing support, can but make us happy. We congratulate the calligraphers, organizers and all the friends of the project with this great success!
