Ukraine Fulfils Commitments in Terms of State Budget Implementation
OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2009. Despite the turmoil the Gov’t fulfills its commitments with regards to implementation of the State Budget for 2009 and budget of the Pension Fund. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko informed today, during the Government’s session.
“Despite severe crisis, despite the political chaos, despite counteraction of certain power branches to the work of Government, despite complete disbalance of activities among the President, Government and a part of Parliament, the Government fulfills its commitments – we have overfulfilled the budget and incomes into the Pension Fund,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
Prime Minister continued over 5 months of 2009 general and special funds of the State Budget, including disbursement of value added tax, have obtained UAH 79.2 billion (104.6%) while in May the budget received UAH 17.2 billion (106.8%). According to Yulia Tymoshenko, incomes to the Pension Fund budget are also fulfilled, amounting UAH 7.9 billion (101.8%).
The Head of Government added May demonstrated UAH 166.5 million (18%) decrease in arrears of wages to the employees of economically active enterprises. Besides, according to her, enterprises were 100% reimbursed value added tax.
“All this is the proof of implementation of the anti-crisis program,” Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized.
