OREANDA-NEWS  On 03 June was announced, that On 1st June 2009, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) held the first, organizational meeting of the Expert Council for Support of Small and Medium Business.

The Expert Council was formed in May 2009 to facilitate FAS Russia's collaboration with business unions, non-commercial organisations and associations to consider the issues related to compliance of the federal executive bodies, the authorities of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation and local self-government bodies with the antimonopoly legislation; and devising proposal and recommendations on its improvement.

The Council's decisions are advisory.
