OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2009. This action is part of the All-Russian ecological marathon “Green Belt of Nuclear Cities” aimed at making the satellite cities of the Russian nuclear power plants cities of high ecological culture.

Employees of both Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant and Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant-2 are taking part in the action. Jointly with representatives of the local yacht club and Speckhimmontazh CJSC they are cleaning the territory of Primorsky Park, the peninsula, part of the shore of the Gulf of Finland and the banks of Kovash River.

On June 6 representatives of the Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering, Ecomet-S and the yacht club will clean the local ponds. 

We hope that all residents of Sosnovy Bor who care for their city will take part in the action.
