OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 June 2009 was announced, that in the capital of Uzbekistan Tashkent the 13th International exhibition and conference “Oil and Gas” took place. It was held with the official support of NHC “Uzbekneftegaz”, Hokimiyata (Tashkent city-hall) and the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The exhibition was opened by the speeches of deputy Prime minister of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of Governors of NHC “Uzbekneftegaz” Ergash Shaismatov and Chairman of the board of NHC “Uzbekneftegaz” Ulugbek Nazarov, etc.

During the exhibition specialists from Zarubezhneft JSC held talks with representatives from uzbek companies such as NHC “Uzbekneftegaz”, UDP “Mubarekneftegaz”, AK “Uzneftegazdobycha”, Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas Exploration and other foreign and Russian companies.

Zarubezhneft JSC exhibition stand was attended by the Russian Federation Commercial representative in the Republic of Uzbekistan B.E. Atamanov.

Around 180 companies from more than 30 countries – Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Poland, USA, Great Britain, France, Austria, Germany, Italy, Canada, Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, P.R.C., Malaysia and others took part in the exhibition this year.

Among the largest exhibitors were “Gazprom”, “LUKOIL”, “Stroytransgaz”, “Integra Group”, “Hydromashservice”, “TMK”, “Uzbekneftegaz”, “Zeromax GmbH”, “Petronas”, “Oil Exploration Operations Company” and others.

Zarubezhneft JSC exposition was acknowledged with a Certificate.

During the exhibition the conference “Uzbekistan Oil and Gas 2009” was held. More than 500 participants from different countries, including Russian representatives of exhibition as well as representatives of various ministries and agencies, Embassy of Russia in Uzbekistan and other officials, took part in it.
