OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 June 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ output of soft drinks fell 6.7% year-on-year in January-April 2009 to 8.2 million decaliters, and mineral water output decreased 9% to 110.8 half-liters, the National Statistics Committee said in a statement.

Inventories of mineral water were at 11 million half-liters on may 1, 2009, or 39.8% of the average monthly output, and soft drink inventories had reached 1.7 million decaliters by that day, 83.9% of the monthly output.

Sales of soft drinks were at 7.5 million decaliters in January-April, up 3.2% on the year; soft drinks produced in Belarus accounted for 94.3% of all sales, up 0.1 of a percentage point on the year.
