OREANDA-NEWS. On 01 June 2009 was announced, that Astana akimat asks the government to represent additional funds fro buy-out of land and houses that must be demolished and payment of compensation to their owners.

“The general volume of needed means for demolition and compensation is about 27 bln tenge”, said Astana akim I. Tasmagambetov on Thursday at the meeting of state commission on control over construction of the new center of the capital.

Exchange rate of tenge is 150,13/USD 1.

This year the volume of funds necessary for demolition of houses is more than 6 bln tenge.

Minister of economy and budget planning of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sulatnov said thatallocation of additional funds is “possible”.

K. Masimov ordered the head of the ministry of economy to consider the possibility of allocating additional funds for these purposes.

According to the information of press-service of Astana akimat this year it was supposed to redistribute 6.504 bln tenge to release land.
