OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2009. In April 2009, ROSNO paid over 400 million roubles throughout Russia, including 105 million roubles paid by regional directorates. The largest payments — almost 9 million roubles — were made for three Audi cars, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The aggregate insurance compensation for two Audi A8L involved in separate traffic accidents in Moscow and Sergiev Posad exceeded 6 million roubles. Another car of this brand — Audi Q7 — belonged to one of the Kazan-based automobile technical centres. The driver lost control of the vehicle on the Moscow-Ufa highway (in the Republic of Tatarstan), skidded to the roadside ditch and rolled over. The vehicle was recognized as damaged beyond repair, with subsequent payment of insurance compensation of 2.9 million roubles.

In the Central Federal Okrug, ROSNO compensated over 1.6 million roubles under the risk "Damage" to owners of the vehicles Porsche Cayenne, Mercedes S600L, and Mazda. In the North-Western region, the company paid 1.5 million roubles in MOD compensation for the dump-truck Wielton NW33SB damaged in a traffic collision with two other cars, and 1.9 million roubles for two stolen Subaru Foresters.

In Povolzh’e, ROSNO paid over 1 million roubles of MOD insurance compensation for a burned-out BMW Х5 and over 882 thousand roubles for two Mitsubishis (Pajero Sport and Outlander) damaged in traffic accidents. In the Russian south, over 1.5 million roubles of MOD insurance compensations were paid for Mercedes 350 and two BMW 530XIA and Х5.

In Ural, over 1.3 million roubles of insurance compensation were received by the owner of a Volkswagen Touareg that had caught fire. In the Ural Federal Okrug, ROSNO paid almost 1.8 million roubles of insurance compensations for the damaged Volvo XC 90 and Ford Explorer XLT. In the latter case, the insured accident occurred during a test drive. The driver lost control, and his car drove into a concrete pole.

In the Siberian Okrug, the largest payments (over 1.3 million roubles) were made for two damaged Toyota cars: Avensis and Land Cruiser 120. In the Far East, over 1.5 million roubles were paid for a damaged Infiniti QX56 and two Toyota Land Cruisers.
