OREANDA-NEWS. On May 28, 2009 The Board of Directors of Kazkommertsbank (“KKB” or the “Bank”) announced that on 22 May 2009 Mr John Filmeridis, a Non-executive Director on the Board, tendered his resignation with immediate effect due to personal reasons, reported the press-centre of Kazkommertsbank.

Mr Filmeridis was elected to the Board of KKB as a representative of Alnair Capital Holding (Alnair), a major shareholder of the Bank, at an Extraordinary General Meeting on 3 December 2008.

The Bank expects that Alnair will nominate a new candidate to replace Mr. Filmeridis. The election of a new member to the Board will be conducted in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
