OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2009. KAMAZ Inc. was acknowledged the best exporter of the Russian Federation in “Mechanical Engineering” industry for the tenth time in succession. OAO NEFAZ, a subsidiary of KAMAZ, became Russia’s best exporter to CIS countries.

The RF Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the results of its contest to win a title “The Best Russian Exporter 2008” in 17 industries. The documents and consolidated export reports presented by the organizations showed that despite the crisis KAMAZ remained matchless in all key performances last year. 11255 trucks constituting 23.7% of the company’s total sales were realized on the near and far abroad outlets.

KAMAZ Inc. has been keeping the title “Russia’s Best Exporter” since 1999. Formerly OAO NEFAZ producing special equipment on KAMAZ chassis, buses, trailers and semitrailers more than once became the best in sales to CIS countries and in a performance evolution as compared with last year too.
