OREANDA-NEWS. May 26, 2009. The volume of chargeable services to population totaled 986.9 million lei in April 2009, up 1.9 percent in real terms than in April 2008.

According to the National Statistics Bureau, in comparison with the previous month this indicator reduced by 5.5 per cent.

In January-April 2009, the volume of chargeable services provided to population totaled 4 billion 134.2 million lei, up 0.6 per cent in comparable prices than for the first four months last year. The volume of chargeable services rendered to population reduced with economic subjects of the public form of ownership – by 16.3 per cent and private form of ownership – by 9.3 per cent.

At the same time, enterprises of the mixed sectors (with foreign capital participation) and mixed (public+private) increased the volume of provided chargeable services by 40.8% and 31.5%, respectively. 46.6% in the total value of chargeable services rendered to the population fell to the Chisinau municipality, 5.7% - Balti, 3.2% - Gagauzia, 2.2% - Cahul region, 1.8% - Anenii Noi region, 1.7% - Orhei region and Ungheni region – 1.5%.
