OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 May 2009 was announced, that IlimSeverLes (Ilim West Business Unit, Ilim Group) now is ready to open its log rafting season 2009. At present moment all fleet is staged and ready on Koryazhma mill's roads — all vessels having been brought in advance from storage at local logging enterprises. This will help to increase technical availability and effectiveness of work.

During this season IlimSeverLes plans to deliver 100 thousand m3 of wood by rafts (winter bundling) and around 50 thousand m3 of wood by barges.

According to forecasts this season will be short, but specialists intend to fulfill this plan.

IlimSeverLes operates 15 self-propelled and nonself-propelled vessels, including 9 motor diesel vessels.
