OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 May 2009 was announced, that Alexander Filipenko , Governor and Chairman of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region, and Andrey Akimov, Gazprombank Chairman of the Management Board, have signed an Agreement on Cooperation.

The main goal of the Agreement is to develop social and economic potential of the region.

The document defines interaction of the parties in implementing  regional social and economic programs.

Within the framework of the Agreement, Gazprombank shall consider feasibility of lending to regional enterprises’ and organizations’ as well as investment projects’ financing.

Gazprombank also intends to assist  Khanty-Mansiysk-Yugra Government in attraction of Russian and foreign investors to the region, issue and servicing of securities.
