OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 May 2009 was announced, that 7th International Caspian Furniture Exhibition Caspian MebelExpo will be held on 21.10.2009 — 24.10.2009 in Azerbaijan, Baku, Sport and exhibition complex named by H.Aliev.

Intensive growth of the building industry for the last years also actively promoted development of directly furniture market of the country. Dynamical housing construction causes substantial growth of demand by furniture production which is satisfied both at the expense of local manufacture, and at the expense of import of finished goods to the country.

The basic countries-suppliers of ready furniture production to Azerbaijan are such countries as Italy, Turkey, Russia, China, Malaysia, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Iran. it is necessary to notice, that requirement for accessories, accessories, the equipment for furniture manufacture is satisfied with import to the country.

The basic exporters of the fabrics - Turkey, Russia, the United Arab Emirates; accessories - Poland, Turkey, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Italy, China; raw materials for furniture manufacture - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey; the woodworking equipment and tools - Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy. 

Last years the furniture market has considerably extended, having strengthened thereby the positions. Now is more than 500 large salons in Baku and in the regions representing various furniture, both foreign, and national manufacture. The local furniture industry specialises basically on manufacture of kitchen, office, inhabited and children's furniture. Azerbaijan exports ready furniture production of local manufacture to Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia. Participation at the exhibition Caspian MebelExpo 2009 of leading manufacturers of the furniture industry promotes reception by the end user of a trustworthy information about the furniture market, its sectors and the basic directions of development.
