OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 May 2009 was announced, that 16th International Conference Oil and Gas, Oil refining and Petrochemistry will be held on 03.06.2009 — 04.06.2009 in Azerbaijan, Baku, Park Hyatt Hotel.

The international conference Caspian Oil&Gas Conference 2009, devoted to the oil and gas processings, is held annually within the limits of the exhibition. The conference Caspian Oil&Gas Conference 2009 is organized with the complete support of the government of Azerbaijan. Questions of introduction of innovative technologies and materials, and as the advanced equipment will be discussed in details there.

Azerbaijan is one of the optimum countries for foreign investments in the Asian region. The unique geographical arrangement of the country between Europe and Asia allows to spend two pipelines - VTS (Baku-Tbilisi-Dzhejhan) and pipeline VTE (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum).

The oil and gas processing industry in Azerbaijan has concluded an order of 22 large oil contracts with consortia of the foreign oil companies, thereby creating favorable ample opportunities of creation of network communities.
