OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 May 2009 was announced, that 16th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference Incorporating Refining and Petrochemicals will be held on 02.06.2009 — 05.06.2009 in Azerbaijan, Baku, Sport and exhibition complex named by H.Aliev.

The exhibition Caspian Oil and Gas 2009, devoted to the oil and gas  processing, is the largest in the Asian region. The oil and gas  processing complex is one of leaders in the country, therefore the exhibition will be  held completely with the support of the government of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan is one of the optimum countries for foreign investments into the Asian region. The unique geographical arrangement of the country between Europe and Asia allows to controll two pipelines - ВТС (Baku-Tbilisi-Dzhejhan) and pipeline VTE (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum).

The oil and gas  processing  industry in Azerbaijan has concluded an order of 22 large oil contracts with consortia of the foreign oil companies, thereby creating favorable ample opportunities of creation of network communities.

At the exhibition Caspian Oil and Gas 2009 about 500 delegates from Korea, Greece, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, the Great Britain, the USA and other states will be present . The number of visitors of an exhibition Caspian Oil and Gas 2009 annually reaches over 10.000 trading visitors from 56 countries.
