OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2009. Audi Russia and OJSC IC ROSNO offer the clients of official Audi dealers in Russia a specialized comprehensive motor insurance program, Audi Insurance. The program covers MOD risks, voluntary medical insurance, road assistance, and potential extension of OMTPL coverage to 1 million roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The Audi Insurance program is intended for the owners of new Audi cars purchased from official dealers. The insurance tariff starts from 3.5%1.

The MOD insurance coverage contemplated by the program, protects the vehicle against the risks of theft, damage and fire. The program’s advantages for car owners are as follows:

non-aggregated insurance amount for all risks;

no franchise;

favorable depreciation accrual method (pro rata to the effective term of the policy);

deferred payment of insurance premium with no extra charge2;

no specific requirements as to the vehicle storage place;

Multi-Drive option: unlimited number of people permitted to drive the insured vehicle, provided that their driving experience is at least seven years and age of over 27 (with no extra charge).

Payment of insurance compensation without road police certificates: if the relevant traffic accident has damaged no one’s life and health, the insurance compensation under the risk "Damage" can be paid without road police certificates3.

The program includes a unique offer "VMI Million"4, enabling organization of prompt and effective medical aid to the extent necessary in case of injuries inflicted in a traffic accident. The car owner will be guaranteed a comprehensive outpatient medical treatment, including advice from specialized doctors, home treatment procedures, arrival of ambulance to the traffic accident scene, and emergency hospitalization.

AGO-Million: for a small surcharge (30 roubles), owners of Audi cars purchasing OMTPL policies can also buy the policy AGO-Million enabling extension of OMTPL coverage to 1 million roubles.

Road assistance program "Pomosch na dorogah" (road assistance): the car owner insured under the Audi Insurance program can be assisted by the qualified professional visiting the scene, providing technical assistance and, if necessary, helping to evacuate the vehicle.

Each holder of the Audi Insurance policy has a VIP client status and enjoys a number of benefits*: visit to the traffic accident scene by the average commissioner who will arrange issuance of documents at the traffic accident scene, send the vehicle to a service station for repairs, and evacuate the vehicle from the traffic accident scene.

In addition, losses can be settled remotely*, with no need to visit the insurer’s office, since the insured accident will be registered and documented directly at the service station authorized by the dealer that had sold the relevant vehicle.

1 This tariff has been calculated for the Audi vehicle with insurance value of 2,624,833 roubles (based on the CBRF exchange rate of 32.81 roubles per 1 US dollar as of May 06’ 2009), over 15 years of driving experience and the driver’s age over 47 years. These pricing characteristics change in proportion to the US dollar exchange rate set by the CBRF for the date of conclusion of the respective insurance contract.

3 If the relevant traffic accident has damaged no one’s life and health, the insurance compensation under the risk "Damage" can be paid without presentation of any documents from competent authorities, however no more than twice per insured period, and provided that the damage does not exceed 2% of the vehicle value (for the vehicles with value exceeding 1,250,000 roubles) or 25,000 roubles (for the vehicles with value not exceeding 1,250,000 roubles).
