On 26-29 May, "Penkiu kontinentu" Bankines Technologijos (BS/2) that belongs to "Penki kontinentai" Group will participate in the International Banking Technology, Equipment and Services Exhibition & Conference BankTech 2009, which will take place in Almaty (Kazakhstan), for the fifth time already.

It is the largest event of this kind in the Central Asian countries, where major banking technology companies, financial institutions, and programme and technical solution creators normally introduce the most advanced financial sector's information technology solutions and the latest market trends in the region.

This year the equipment and information technology applied by the banks and other financial institutions, as well as security solutions, consulting and business services, automated banking systems, insurance and financial services, credit card design, production, and card-related hardware and software will be the focus of attention at the exhibition.

At the anniversary BankTech 2009 exhibition the Lithuanian company BS/2 will introduce its own products and services and products and services of the German company Wincor Nixdorf: hardware and software maintenance and repair services, outsourcing, business process management and optimization solutions, business process management system ATMiQ, video security, monitoring, and customer complaint management system ATMeye and self-payment facilities management solution iQxml.

In addition, on 28 May, BS/2 will organize the Cost Saving Strategies Through Outsourcing Services conference for the heads of large and medium-sized Asian banks. The conference that will be opened the Ambassador of Lithuania to the Republic of Kazakhstan Romualdas Kozyrovicius, will be used to discuss the topic of reducing the banks' costs and optimizing their operations under the current economic conditions.

Possessing sound experience in the international banking technology market, BS/2 maintains close cooperation with the representatives of the Kazakh business sector. Based on the data as of 2009, according to the number of ATMs BS/2 sold in Kazakhstan, it occupies 51% of the country's ATM market. In 2007 the company's export to this country was 114.01 million Litas, in 2008 – 42.54 million Litas.
