Committee Amended Terms and Conditions of Depository Activity of DCC
OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2009. At its meeting held on April 23 the Committee of Major Participants of Depository Clearing Company (DCC) considered a number of issues related to improvement of the procedure of depositary servicing.
It was recommended to amend the Terms and Conditions of Depository Activity of ZAO DCC in the part which stipulates the procedure for reregistration of securities in the registers of securityholders performed by the depository under a Participant's instruction. It was suggested to introduce new forms of reports provided by the depository on completion of reregistration.
The Committee also approved amendments to the Terms and Conditions of Depository Activity of ZAO DCC because the depository had canceled execution of conditional instructions and implemented CCP settlements and also due to adjustment of electronic messages formats (SWIFT, EDI) used in interdepository links with the CSD of Kazakhstan and Sberbank of the Russian Federation.
The Committee of Major Participants approved amendments to DCC Fee Schedule. It was suggested to set a fee for securities transfers from MICEX trading subaccount to the main subaccount in respect of securities circulating in the new RTS Standard shares market, established by RTS Stock Exchange. The following fees are introduced for transfer of securities from the “Blocked for trades on MICEX -Stock Market Section” trading subaccount to the main subaccount:
For shares which are not included in the RTS Standard Quotation List – RUB 870 per instruction;
For shares which are included in the RTS Standard Quotation List: from 1 to 500 Instruction during a calendar month - RUB125 per instruction; from 501 Instruction during a calendar month – RUB100 per instruction.
The fees still include all DCC expenses for execution of Participant's instruction. For instructions relating to OAO Gazprom shares an additional fee is charged to cover expenses for reregistration.
The aforementioned amendments come into effect on May 04, 2009.
