OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2009. The 10th international exhibition and fair Spring 2009 opened in Gomel on May 21. Companies of six countries are taking part in the forum. Attending the forum are more than 200 companies from Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.

The exhibition will occupy 3,200 square metres. The exhibition area will include four sectors: light industry, food industry, construction industry and services. Approximately 50% of the area will be occupied by producers of the Gomel oblast.

Not only businessmen have shown their interest in the forum. According to Alexei Shelegeda, representatives of the embassies of the Russian Federation, Poland, Kazakhstan, Israel, Hungary and Germany intend to arrive in Gomel to attend the exhibition. Attending the forum will be also participants of the economic forum which will be held in Gomel this time. Representatives of 19 countries are expected to attend the Gomel Economic Forum.

The Spring 2009 Exhibition and Fair will include a number of fashion shows, food tasting sessions, promotion actions of countries-participants, contact-cooperation exchange sessions with foreign guests, workshops and conferences, various contests for visitors.
