OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2009. There were published materials of 2008 results of the Russian insurers in traditional column “Insurance Panorama” of No.17-18 edition of Expert magazine, prepared by Expert Ra rating agency. Publications were prepared according to the data, provided by the insurance companies, which underlines the information disclosure of the participants of the review. 

OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation, as usual, presented the results of its work. In terms of the volume of premium income, Transsiberian Re is included by the experts into the middle-sized class. At that, the Corporation takes the lead among specialized reinsurers, participated in the review.

Although, the present research of the Expert magazine didn’t include the separate table with the results of the reinsurance market, Transsiberian Re is on the forth place in the list of inward reinsurance leaders, following three largest insurance groups.

Transsiberian Re constantly traces the state of the reinsurance market and prepares corresponding reviews by its own forces. However, the Corporation welcomes in every way independent professional reviews of the Russian insurance and reinsurance market and is open to further cooperation in this sector.
