Klaipeda Port Participated in TRANSPORT and LOGISTICS 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2009. In Munich (Germany) there took place the biggest and the most important biennially in West Europe TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS 2009 and Klaipeda port was presented in a joint stand. During this exhibition there took place a lot of international conferences and forums, reported the press-centre of Klaipeda port.
The Minister of Transport and Communications of the republic of Lithuania Eligijus Masiulis took part in the event and made a speech at the conference TransEurasia. There also took part in the exhibition in Munich Transport and Logistics 2009 acting director of the Port Authority Algirdas Kamarauskas, and he was the head of Klaipeda port delegation.
In the above exhibition there took part about 1700 companies from 55 countries of the world (in 2007 there took part more than 1500 companies from 59 countries of the world), representing not only Europe but also the global spectrum of transport services. The objective of the exhibition – was to present transport and logistics potential and the experience interchange in transport field.
Klaipeda port was presented in Munich in a joint stand. In a joint port exposition with the area of 70 m2, there were six companies: SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority, AB Klaipeda Stevedoring Company, UAB Klaipeda Container Terminal, UAB Arijus, UAB BPA and UAB Baltija transportations.
During the exhibition in Munich exhibition centre there took place a lot of international conferences and forums: MariLOG, Air Cargo Europe, TransEurasia and etc.
Statistics specialist of the Marketing Department Kestutis Voveris represented SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority.
