OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2009. Navigation Systems, Technologies and Services International Project confirmed the significance of GLONASS integration into Russian economy. The project was organized with support of the Russian Federal Space Agency, GLONASS/GNSS Forum Association.

M2M telematica company participated in the exhibition and forum under the project, which took place in Expocenter, Moscow, on May 12-15.

Many Russian and foreign companies, as well as the government, revealed their interest in the GLONASS system.

Delegates of the forum acquired detailed data about GLONASS application in various areas of the Russian economy. M2M Telematica experts made reports on transport monitoring, safety and control systems, satellite navigation for personal and state transport, etc. Also, GLONASS-GPS telematics terminals, user SW for transport monitoring and control systems, etc. were presented.

Many participants of the forum continued the contacts with M2M specialists during the exhibition. The exhibition gathered leading Russian and foreign developers and manufactures of navigational hardware and SW. More than 50 companies from Germany, Canada, China, Litva, Belorussia, Russia, other countries presented their products at the exhibition.

M2M telematica displayed full spectrum of the products:
   - SW for various business spheres (passenger and freight transport, security, construction, etc)
   - user terminal GLONASS/GPS- based equipment
   - own solutions, elements of intellectual transport systems.
   M2M telematica exposition was visited by many distinguished guests, including Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov and GLONASS General Designer Yury Urlichich.
