OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2009. This issue was discussed in Moscow during the joint meeting with representatives of the Transport Agency of Moldova and the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

Sources in the Transport Agency of Moldova have informed that in the result of negotiations the Russian authorities decided to revoke the decision to block the access of Moldovan transport from May 15.

In its turn, the Moldovan side has pledged to bring to justice the Moldovan transport agents that have committed violations during use of the multilateral permits (ECMT). The parties also agreed to make clear and consistent steps to prevent such cases in future.

Transport Agency called on Moldovan transport agents and the International Auto-Transport Association to be correct and vigilant while making trips on the basis of ECMT certificates.
