OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2009. Arkhangelsk branch of ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded an insurance contract for 400,000 roubles, covering a pedigree racehorse of Trakenenskaya breed, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Under the concluded contract, the black stallion Hyper has been insured against death as a result of forced slaughter, theft, accident (fire, lightning stroke, or natural disasters), or disease.

Hyper’s owners were awarded the 1st grade diploma for dressage of the Trakenenskaya breed at the X international horse show IPPOSFERA-2008. The Trakenenskaya breed originated in 1732 in the East Prussia, and at present it is one of the best racehorse breeds for any rider qualification. According to the worldwide statistics, the Trakenenskaya breed horses are more successful in dressage than in show jumping or eventing.

The contract will be valid for 1 year.
