On 19 May 2009 was announced, that Hogan & Hartson advised Eldorado Centr LLC and Eldorado Communications Store LLC on the sale of Eldorado mobile phone retail chain to MTS, the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS. Hogan & Hartson's team advised the sellers on corporate issues of the transaction.

Eldorado mobile phone retail chain operates 383 stores in 153 cities in Russia offering handsets and other electronic goods, as well as tariffs and contracts of mobile operators.

The Hogan & Hartson team was led by Moscow partner Ilya Rybalkin and included London partner Peter Kohl, Moscow counsel Dmitry Zhdanov, and Moscow associates Alexey Shinkarenko and Ekaterina Zamoshkina.
