OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 May 2009 was announced, that Astana started preparation to 18th session general assembly World tourist organization.

This was announced by the minister of tourism and sport Temirkhan Dosmukhambetov at the 85th session of executive council of World tourism organization that took place in Republic of Mali, Bamako city.

At the 85th session they considered organizational, financial-budget issues, as well as determination of the candidate to the position of the general secretary of organization during 2010-2013, work program projects and budget for 2010-2011. The special point is the preparation to 18th session of the general assembly that will take place in Astana.
