OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2009. Open joint-stock commercial bank Credit-Standard said its assets increased by 20.7 billion soums or 9.48% in 2008 and reached 239.1 billion soums.

The main share of assets of the bank is money resources at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan (53.6%). Its volume increased from 116.9 billion in the early 2008 to 128.2 billion soums at the end of 2009.

The bank decreased balance of resources at interbank deposit by 16.5 billion soums to decrease risks on these operations and diversify assets.

The bank increased crediting and leasing operations and their total volume made up 18.4 billion soums or grew by 13 billion soums. The bank net investments into securities and investments made up 13 billion soums or increased by 1.7 billion soums.

Aggregate capital of the bank made up 31.1 billion soums and increased by 11 billion soums or 54.4%.

Total liabilities of the Bank Credit-Standard grew by 9.7 billion soums to 207.9 billion soums. Net income of the bank comprised 6.8 billion soums in 2008 or increased by 0.5 billion soums or 8.6%.
