OREANDA-NEWS. AsiaUniversalBank to sponsor the “FORUS award”, VII amateur sailing regatta, which will take place on May 6 -16, 2009, in the Adriatic Sea, close to Croatian Split city. The Croatian company FORUS will be responsible for organizing the event, reported the press-centre of AsiaUniversalBank.

Regatta’s entry list includes representatives from the financial sector, high tech industries, mass media and communications companies - some are experienced yachtsmen whilst others are just beginners. The skilled skippers will instruct the novices on all of the minutest details of sailing yachts and racing.

The sailing regatta will take place in the Adriatic Sea, considered to be one of the most beautiful of seas. They will have opportunities to visit some well-known cities along the Croatian coast, famous for their unique beauty, Korchula and Lastovo islands, Mljet national park with its picturesque waterfalls and a wonderful archipelago named Hell islands.

Sergey Scherbakov, Honored Master of Sports, a member of the Council of the All-Russian Sailing Federation, a participant of some international ocean races, will act as the Main referee of the races. Svetlana Mansurova, All-Russian category referee, will perform the duties of Chief Secretary.

As before “Analyticheskiy bankovskiy jurnal”, “Bukhgalteriya I banki”, “Banki I tekhnologii” and “Bankovskiye tekhnologii” journals and “Vsya Rossiya” information agency will be media partners for the event.
