OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2009. The objective of the forum is to enhance the economic efficiency and to reduce the periods of NPP construction projects as well as to develop effective cooperation with suppliers of equipment for nuclear power plants, to ensure purchase of high-quality equipment at reasonable prices and to foster competition and transparency in this field.

The program of the forum includes a conference “Management of the Life Cycle of a Nuclear Power Plant at the Stage of Its Construction,” a specialized exhibition “Equipment and Technologies for Nuclear Power Plants,” technical proficiency testing of the manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for the construction of the 3rd and 4th units of Rostov Nuclear Power Plant as well as public auctions and tenders. 

The key event of the forum will be the presentation of 6D Project – an NPP engineering and construction process control system based on an information model comprising detailed project data.

The forum has been organized by Nizhegorodskaya Yarmarka CJSC and Nizhniy Novgorod Atomenergoproekt with the support of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and Atomenergoprom OJSC.
