OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2009. As a result of negotiations Russia and Mongolia have signed an agreement for establishment of a joint venture by Russian Railways and Erdenes MGL and MTZ and a personnel training memorandum between Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and the Agency for Atomic Energy of Mongolia.

The agreement for establishment of JV was signed by Head of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin.

Aeroflot and MIAT (Mongolian Air Transport LLC) have signed an agreement for joint operation of airlines, the ministries of transport of Russia and Mongolia — a memorandum of mutual understanding while the agriculture ministers have made a joint statement.
