OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 May 2009 was announced, that Ingosstrakh paid over RUR 1.1 mln to the Aduch farm located in the Tselinny district of Kalmykia.

The future winter crop (wheat, rye and barley) on the total area of 1700 hectars was insured in October 2007 by the branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Elista. The insurance contract was signed based on the state support program. Total insurance amount is RUR 7.8 mln.

The insured event was freeze-out during winter of 2007/2008 in the region that damaged the wheat and barley crop on the whole area. Two examinations were held to identify the amount of the loss: after filing of the application regarding the event that had signs of the insured one, and prior to the harvesting in order to measure yield. After examination, the event was recognized as the insured one, and in the beginning of 2009 Ingosstrakh paid compensation to the farm.

 Ingosstrakh IJSC has been cooperating with the Aduch farm since 2004. During this time, reinsurance was provided to farm animals (large and small cattle, pigs, transport animals) and future crop (wheat, barley, rye).
