OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 May 2009 was announced, that the Economy Ministry of Belarus had signed resolution #80 to alter the recommendations regarding the application of indexation of rent fees for businesses operating at privately-owned markets and other trading facilities. The ministry has provided a specific list of POS maintenance expenses and profitability rates that may be taken into account when justifying indexation of rent rates, the Economy Ministry said in a statement.

The document was developed on the initiative of the State Control Committee. The Economy Ministry has sent adjusted recommendations to region and Minsk city executive committees.

At present the size of rent rates for businesses working at private markets is regulated by presidential ordinance #148 dated March 24, 2005.
