OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2009. The mother conveyor and all production units of KAMAZ Inc. resumed their work.

2009 frames will be put to assembly, 1920 trucks and assembly sets will be assembled and 1967 trucks and sets will be delivered in May. Besides, the KAMAZ units will produce spare parts for their equipment to the tune of 363 million roubles.

On 4 May the KAMAZ production units and management services launched a SAP information system in an experimental and test mode which enables to control production in an on-line mode making component accounting substantially easier and making planning of higher quality.

In June it’s planned to deliver 2162 trucks and assembly sets. It is noteworthy that even under conditions of the economic crisis in progress the share of orders of KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company for sales on the “free market” grows by 20% at the average month after month. According to preliminary data, it will approach 60% in June.
