On 13 May 2009 was announced, that OAO “Akhangarancement”, integrated into the holding company “EUROCEMENT group”, was presented with a diploma of trade representative office of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan “For the most valuable contribution to development of trade and economic cooperation between Russian Federation and Republic of Uzbekistan”. This award was introduced as a special prize at the rewarding ceremony of review competition “Tashabbus-2009”.

“Tashabbus” is a review competition, conducted among entrepreneurs, farmers and craftsmen for the prize of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and held every year under the aegis of the Republic Chamber of commerce and industry. It has become an effective mechanism for extending best practices in the field, establishing new working places, mobilizing overseas investments, and creating entrepreneurship positive image in the country.
