OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 May 2009 was announced, that according to a decision made by the Supervisory Council of RUSNANO, the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnology plans to invest in production, infrastructure and educational projects 28.5 bln RURles. Also, about 3 bln RURles will be transferred to the European X-ray Free Electron Laser project (XFEL).

The Supervisory Council approved the cost cuts program for 2009. A large number of costs will be cut including labor payment and usage of subcontractors. The Corporation already employs the practice of limiting the cellular communications and transportation, travelling and living espenses, purchasing the office equipment and stationery.

The amount of savings due to cost cuts is estimated at the level 500 mln RURles.
