OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 May 2009 was announced, that Veles Capital’s CEO Alexey Gnedovsky will make a speach at the RBC’s 20th international business conference “Russia and Europe: growth strategies under new global economic model”. The event will take place May 13 – 17 in Berlin.

The forum’s main purpose is: to consolidate efforts to overcome the economic recession and financial crisis; to find solutions for pressing issues amid global financial turmoil; to work out global economic development models amid a new economic system; to mastermind joint responses to today’s worldwide challenges with a direct impact on the economy.

Alexey Gnedovsky will make a speech devoted to the new challenges and opportunities on the Russian debt market during the panel discussion “Financial markets: liquidity, debt burden and access to capital” which will take place May 15. Alexey Gnedovsky will speak about current market situation and the perspectives of the debt market. He also will draw attention the recent statistics of defaults, changes of investors’ preferences and the new market instruments.

Alexey Gnedovsky was born at 1964 in Moscow. Graduated from economical faculty of Moscow State University with a “economical cybernetics” specialty. Later graduated from the Business School under Russian Ministry of foreign affairs were he majored in foreign economic relations. Alexey Gnedovsky is CEO and one of the owners of the company from the very moment of it incorporation.
