OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 May 2009 was announced, that BTA Top Management had met with Great Patriotic War veterans and congratulated them with upcoming Victory Day having presented monetary gifts.

The invited veterans used to be employees of PromStroybank and Vneshtorgbank, predecessors of TuranAlem Bank, nowadays BTA Bank.

Among them Gimran Murzagaliyev, a former front line participant and a possessor of an honorary title “Honored economist of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic” was invited to the meeting too. He was a managing director of Kazakhstan republican representative office of the USSR Stroybank from 1971 through 1989, i.e. for almost 20 years. During this period the buildings of BTA Bank in Almaty as well as almost all premises of the Bank in regional centers of Kazakhstan have been constructed.

In honor of 64th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War and within the frame of its corporate program on social responsibility, BTA Bank has also allocated funds to the rear workers and labor veterans – to 70 former bank employees who live in Almaty now.

Traditionally, BTA Bank has congratulated with high appreciation Great Patriotic War veterans – 8000 depositors of the Bank throughout the country. Each of them will be granted the monetary transfer gift.
