OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 May 2009 was announced, that on the eve of Victory Day Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow Mayor at City Hall, head of Integrated Body for Urban Design Policy and Development of Moscow, congratulated the veterans of World War II on behalf of the builders of the Russian capital:

“Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War!

I congratulate the participants of the Great Patriotic War on Victory Day on behalf of the Moscow builders from the bottom of my heart!

We pay tribute to the front-line soldiers and people who served on the home front, those who were bringing closer the cherished day of Victory at the cost of many efforts and even lives. We admire the true patriotism, heroism, valour and fortitude displayed by them during hard years of the war.

I wish everyone who gave us the Great Victory good health, happiness, joy and luck!”
