OREANDA-NEWS. On May 08, 2009 The Government has given a commission to the Finance Ministry to start forming draft State Budget of 2010 in synergy with local authorities.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko informed during a selector meeting with heads of regional and local executive authorities dedicated to the results of activity over four months of 2009.

Starting from Tuesday a special workgroup has to be formed to elaborate the draft State Budget – 2010 which will comprise heads of financial departments of regional state administrations, representatives of associations of the cities and regional councils.  

Yulia Tymoshenko explained the local authorities are presented with a fait accompli with regards to the budget not adjusted with them. “The year of 2009 has to become an exception, that’s why draft budget of 2010 has to be shaped with attraction local authorities in this process,” she underlined.
