OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2009. ROSNO has compensated the damage inflicted by fires to the corporate clients — Schelkovo Rehabilitation Centre and the shopping and entertainment centre in Kurovskoy, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The rehabilitation facility in Schelkovo caught fire due to the heat-induced self-inflammation of wooden structures inside the sauna. The insurance compensation equalled 3,942,296 roubles.
The fire in the shopping and entertainment centre in Kurovskoy (Orekhovo-Zuevo district) started due to the short circuit in electric wiring. ROSNO has paid 9,523,782 roubles for this insured accident.

The buildings of both facilities had been insured under the insurance program covering corporate property against fire and other hazards. In general, the risks covered included fire, lightning stroke, aircraft impact, unlawful third-party actions, burglary, robbery and brigandage; collision with land vehicles, flood, and glass breakage.
