Azerbaijan Central Bank’s Centralized Credits Portfolio Rose by 41.8%
OREANDA-NEWS. May 8, 2009. In April 2009 the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CB, formerly the National Bank) increased the balance on centralized crediting by 41.8% versus March, by 51.6% against its growth of 2.4-fold for 2008 and by 2.6% in 2007.
The CB reports that as of 1st May 2009 its portfolio of centralized credits reached AZN 347.09 million that is by AZN 102.38 million more as of 1st April (AZN 244.7 million). The portfolio by 1st March was AZN 239.7 million, by 1st February AZN 228.15 million, and by 1st January of the year AZN 229 million.
The balance by 1st January 2008 was AZN 95.288 million and AZN 92.857 million by 1st January 2007.
