Tsesnabank Reports on Government Program of Crediting SMB
OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2009. Tsesnabank (Astana), securities of which are present in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) official list, provided to KASE the press release on the following, reported the press-centre of KASE:
In compliance with the general agreement between NWF Samruk-Kazyna, Fund Damu and STB, Tsesnabank was supposed to draw KZT3.3 bn to fund small and medium size business companies till July 1, 2009.
However by April 28, 2009 the bank completed allocation of funds with the general agreement. Thus, having drawn the third tranche funds of SMB companies funding stabilization program 2 months earlier the set period, the bank became the first program operator, which completed funds ahead of schedule.
In total the bank funded 57 projects, out of which 35 projects to the amount of KZT1.8 bn implemented by SMB companies in Astana.
This is the next in turn successful experience of the bank participation in the SMB companies funding stabilization program. In 2008, the bank effectively allocated the first tranche, having drawn 3 billion 50 million tenge ahead of schedule. Due to this the bank was entrusted drawing of additional 1 billion 118 million tenge within re-allocation of funds from other STB. The second tranche funds in the size over 2 billion tenge were also used by the bank ahead of schedule by 2 months.
