OREANDA-NEWS. On May 06, 2009 International Monetary Fund has approved a decision to hold a sitting of the IMF Board of Directors into considering issues of the second tranche of the loan for Ukraine on May 8 of 2009 instead of May 13.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko informed on opening a Governmental session.

“On May 8 the Board of Directors will tackle an issue on allocation the tranche to Ukraine. This is a very positive signal,” Yulia Tymoshenko announced.

According to her, this decision was adopted by the IMF taking into account effective work of the Government in implementation of measures of the joint Ukraine-IMF program.
