OREANDA-NEWS. May 05, 2009. For April payment of salaries on the state enterprises of coal industry amounts 100%. Deputy Minister of Coal Industry of Ukraine Anatolii Korzun informed during a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers.

“In every state enterprise of the coal industry the wages have been paid 100%. According to the live data employees of the coal enterprises have received almost 555 million hryvnyas in wages,” Anatolii Korzun disclosed.

According to him, UAH 937 mn have been received in total by the state enterprises for salaries and other compulsory payments, including into the State Budget.

Deputy Minister also stressed the problem with purposeful use of coal has been solved: “Owing to the vigorous activity of the Government we have gained 100% funds by directing coal into energy domain”. At this, he emphasized within recent times the situation with payments for consumption of coke coal has improved.

Besides, Anatolii Korzun added thanks to the efforts of the Government arrears of wages to mine-builders for the previous periods have been compensated. UAH 24 mn have been directed for this purpose.

“Therefore, all the issues set to the Ministry with regards to payment of salaries to the miners have been fulfilled completely,” the Deputy Minister summed up.
