OREANDA-NEWS. May 04, 2009. Consolidated net profit of the Eesti Telekom Group for 2008, attributable to the equity holders of the parent company of the Group, totalled 1,434,835 thousand EEK (91,703 thousand EUR), reported the press-centre of Eesti Telekom.

Consolidated retained earnings of the Eesti Telekom Group as of 31 December 2008 attributable to the equity holders of the parent company of the Group totalled 2,413,843 thousand EEK (154,274 thousand EUR). 

The Management Board’s proposal is to distribute between shareholders and to pay to shareholders as dividends 1,448,523 thousand EEK (92,577 thousand EUR), i.e. 10.50 EEK (0.67 EUR) per share, proceeding from the number of shares 137,954,528.

The residual of retained earnings totalling to 965,320 thousand EEK (61,697 thousand EUR) are to be carried forward in the balance sheet.
